A man charged on Tuesday, Edward Terry of Overland, Missouri, who sent an email making a terrorist warning to one of PrideSTL’s show directors saying he would
“come to pride fest with my guns to kill every gay person I can before I kill myself,” St. Louis County Police told.
Instantly, the manager of PrideSTL talked the FBI, and experts traced the email after to Terry via his mobile phone, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. However, Terry also reposted police officer he creates an account using the name of a lady he previously lived with, the paper reported.
He will be called on Friday for hearing, maybe the suspect is dangers for community and his agency will ask a magistrate to have Terry held without bail, St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell stated that.
“We take threats of this nature very seriously, especially in relation to historically marginalized communities that have been victims of violence,” Bell said.
Hearing is listed for June 29 and 30, St. Louis’ PrideFest.
